BIO （6-bromoindirubin-3'-oxime） is a specific GSK3 kinase inhibitor.  Inhibition of GSK3-beta results in activation of the canonical WNT pathway leading to the translocation of beta-catenin to the nucleus.
This chemical compound from StemRD is 98.5% pure （HPLC）.  In a cell-based assay measuring the activation of the TCF reporter gene, this compound gives EC50 of 5.0 micromolar.
